That has to be one of the worst "portables" I've ever seen. And it's still needs an outlet, too. Sounds like a waste of time...but it got him on Joystiq. **shrug**

What a waste of time. All he did was put the gamecube ontop of some custom made controller he built and added a screen in front, terrible.

I opened my gamecube to install a mod chip and I know its very tiny in there. If he actually gutted the GC and used the insides into a custom case, he could of made that thing 20 times smaller.

Why post this garbage. If he tried he could have made that thing much smaller; but he didn't he just threw something together to get attention and say hey look what I did. Horrible Mod.

over at benheck.com's forums there are several far superior portable gamecubes. this one is pretty, but too big and has no battery. one dude over there had actually made significant progress at putting a gamecube inside a thickened game gear. i'd kill for one of those.

it looks cool, but without a battery, its not very practical. imo, youre better off just spending the money to make the custom shell on just an lcd screen and battery pack. that gc wont even need to be plugged in, and it can just sit in your lap like a very "cube" like laptop.

no... GBA slot?.... why in the world would you care about a GBA slot on a portable GC? just slip a Micro in your pocket and you're good to go

Why doesn't anybody realize that not only does Nintendo sell a portable screen that fits on top of the GC but they also sell a rechargeable battery and a wireless controller. For the less than 2 hundred dollars it is as portable as it can be.

Man he tryed... but if you go out and buy any console like gamecube or x-box the system has to be straight up and down for the disc to read right, or it will show up with disc error
